How can I become a Barion shop?
- Register a Business Barion Wallet as one of the following:
- as a representative of a company,
- as a sole trader, or
- as a private individual with a tax number.
- Log in to your Barion Wallet, go to the Shops menu, and click on “+ Create new Shop”.
- Enter your shop’s name, then click “Save” at the bottom of the page.
- A POS Key (secret merchant identifier) and Pixel ID will be generated. You will need both later. You can find them in the Shops menu > Actions > Details.
- Go back to Shops and click on “Modify” in the draft shop’s row and complete the remaining fields as follows:
- Shop name: This is the name your customers will see as the payment recipient. (Each merchant must have a unique name.)
- Choose a name that clearly identifies your business.
- If you only intend to use Barion with invoicing software (not a webshop), use your registered business name.
- Shop URL: Barion will use this URL to verify your integration.
- Depending on how you plan to use Barion:
- Webshop: Enter your webshop URL. Only HTTPS websites with a valid SSL certificate are accepted.
- No public website: Provide additional access information in the “Other information” field.
- Software integration (e.g. invoicing software): Enter the invoice program’s website.
- Mobile application: Enter the app download link.
- Shop description: Provide a short description (20–200 characters) of the products or services you offer. This information is for Barion's internal review only and will not be shown to customers.
- Shop logo: Upload your business logo. It will appear on your payment page and in customers' payment confirmation emails.
- Shop category: Choose the category that best describes:
- your products or services (for webshops); or your business activity (for invoicing software integrations).
Please note that
certain products and services are restricted
or require prior approval. If your business falls under local or international regulations, contact Barion Customer Support.
- Contacts: Provide contact persons for business, technical, and customer support matters.
- At least one Customer Service Contact must be selected, as it will appear in customers' payment confirmation emails.
- Other information: If your website is not publicly accessible, provide any information Barion needs to perform a test purchase, such as: URL, test username, test password, any other necessary access details.
- Primary Currency: Select the currency you expect to accept most frequently.
- Expected income/month: Enter your estimated monthly revenue in the selected currency.
- How did you hear about Barion?: Select an option from the dropdown menu.
- Choose a pricing plan: You can see the difference here between the Barion Smart Gateway Fix and the Barion Smart Gateway IC++ packages.
- Would you like a more favourable Barion pricing package?: If you integrate the Barion Full Pixel, you qualify for the more favorable Advanced pricing levels. You can find our Prices and Conditions list here.
