Why are there limits on my Barion Wallet?
Barion complies with financial regulations and applies balance and transfer limits based on your customer verification level. For Personal Wallets, there are three verification levels:
You can check your current limits by clicking on the profile icon in the top left corner, then on the Limits button.
Personal Barion Wallets start at the Waiver level. This means that your information has not yet been filled out in the Profile menu.
If you reach these limits, your Wallet will be automatically suspended. Once you complete all the required information in the Profile menu, the limits applicable to the Simplified Due Diligence (SDD) level will apply to your Wallet.
You can reach this level if you fill out your Profile.
If you reach the limit for the SDD verification level, your Barion Wallet will be temporarily suspended, and you will need to request verification of your Wallet.
To remove all limits, you must complete the full customer due diligence process and reach the Normal Due Diligence level.
*The amounts shown in other currencies are for informational purposes only. The system always applies the limit defined in Hungarian forints (HUF) and converts it using the current exchange rate.
