You can use the application to start a parking session in Hungary, in the parking zones operated by National Mobile Payment System.

To start a parking session:

1. Open the Barion application on your mobile phone and log in.
2. Tap the letter P in the top row or
• in the Market item in the bottom row, select the Parking option.
3. Depending on whether you’ve parked with Barion before:
1. If you haven’t parked before, you get to the form for adding a new vehicle:
• Enter the license plate, the country of registration and type of the vehicle.
• Tap the “Save” button.
2. If you have parked before, select the vehicle you used previously and you wish to park with again. In the list, you’ll see the license plates of the saved vehicles.
4. Enter the number of the parking zone.
• If you’re using GPS-based location tracking, click on the zone you’d like to park in.
• Important! Always check to make sure the app is showing the correct zone, because GPS can be inaccurate near zone borders.
5. Choose whether parking should stop automatically after a certain amount of time or whether you’ll stop it manually.
6. Tap on the “Start parking” button.
