This can happen if you paid with Apple Pay or Google Pay. To protect customers, Apple Pay and Google Pay generate a random card number and associate it with your original card. This generated card number is shown in the confirmation emails for both the successful payment and the refund.
Apple and Google store the original card details in their own systems, so refunds for these purchases will be successfully processed to the original card.
